As a kid, I was fascinated by Pokemon. I loved collecting the cards and playing the video games. My favorite thing was finding shiny Pokemon in the game–they were so rare and valuable!

So when I found out that there are real gold Pokemon cards, I had to have one. I did some research and found that there are only a handful of gold Pokemon cards in existence. They were all given out as prizes at various competitions, or as gifts to VIPs from Nintendo.

Needless to say, they’re extremely valuable and hard to come by. But that didn’t deter me from trying to get my hands on one. I started scouring eBay and other online auction sites, hoping to find someone selling their gold card.

After months of searching, I finally found one for sale…for $10,000!

When it comes to Pokemon cards, there are fake ones and there are real ones. Real gold Pokemon cards are the latter – they’re the genuine article, made with actual gold. These types of cards are quite rare and valuable, so if you come across one, you’ll want to be sure that it’s the real deal before shelling out any money for it.

Here are a few tips on how to spot a fake gold Pokemon card: The first thing you’ll want to do is check the weight of the card. Real gold is heavy, so a fake gold card will feel lighter in comparison.

Next, take a look at the edges of the card. Genuine gold cards will have smooth edges, while fake ones will often have jagged or rough edges. Finally, examine the color of thecard.

Real gold has a warm yellow hue, while fake gold can often look more orange or greenish in color. If you’re unsure, hold the card up to a light source – real gold should shine brightly while fake gold will appear duller in comparison.
